This course describes the concepts and techniques of data analysis and action research. Students will learn the importance and development of different techniques in analyzing data. Students will learn to design/create models using OR techniques, simulation and optimization to identify actions subsequent to data analysis. Students will be exposed to data analytics software such as Rapid Miner for analytics cases discussion.
