This course covers economics analysis, plant design of piping and
instrumentation diagram (P&ID), waste management, life cycle
assessment, risk assessment analysis, plant safety, HAZOP, HAZID,
operability and reliability and plant optimisation. IT tools that will be
introduced are AUTOCAD and Microsoft VISIO for piping and
instrumentation diagram (P&ID), ASPEN One for plant dynamics
and optimization analysis, GABi for life cycle assessment (LCA)
and BREEZE for risk assessment analysis.
