Prior to graduation, every student is required to undergo industrial training programme at various industries nationwide and abroad. The Industrial Training provides the student with an opportunity to experience to a real-life working environment and expose them to professional skills in the industry. In preparing the students for the real working environment as engineers, industrial training helps to produce engineering graduates with technical and soft skills competency. It is compulsory for all students in which they have to complete a minimum of 8 weeks of continuous training during their long semester break at related industries approved by the school. The industrial training is carried out after the completion of semester 6. Upon completion of the training, the students have to submit a logbook and a brief report containing their work activities endorsed by their supervisor in the company. This training contributes 5-units, and the students are awarded with a Pass/Fail grade upon completion.
