Skill Level: Beginner
This course discusses the physical theory and concept of nanomaterials with zero-, one-, two-, and three-dimensional structures. The techniques used for the growth and characterization of these nanomaterials will be explained. Relevant applications of the nanomaterials (eg nanowires, nanotubes, graphene, etc.) will also be discussed.
Skill Level: Beginner

This course provides detailed discussion on the types of advanced optoelectronics (light emitting diodes, laser diodes, solar cell, and photodetectors) along with their advantages for applications in visible light communication (VLC), light fidelity (LiFi), water and air purification, agriculture, horticulture and fishery. The latest solutions in the optimization of characteristics for the advanced optoelectronics will be also disclosed to the students to circumvent the challenges or obstacles in the field of optoelectronics.
