The objectives of this course are to develop the skills and patterns for critical analysis of visual media and techniques employed in the design and development of visual information delivery packages. Topics discussed include the historical background, conceptual base, and research involved in visual literacy, reviews of the use and design of various instructional media communications, and the development of understanding and skills in the interpretation and creation of visual images and illustrations in education and training.
