Course info
This course discusses the concept of entropy and the second law of thermodynamics. The equation of states of a gas and the thermodynamics laws are used in heat engines such as the Carnot engine. The relationship between the microscopic properties of a gas such as molecular speed of the gas molecules and macroscopic properties such as the pressure and temperature will be explored using the kinetic theory of gases.
