Introduction to organic chemistry; Structures, type of organic reactions, properties and stereoisomerism. Alkanes and cycloalkanes, alkenes, alkynes, benzene and the aromatic ring, alkyl halides, alcohols, ethers, epoxides and thiols. Structures, Nomenclature and the IUPAC system, physical properties, preparation, reactions and their basic mechanisms.
Aldehydes and ketones, caboxylic acids and their derivatives and amines.
