Systematic chemistry: Changes in physical and chemical properties for elements with respect to their position in the periodic table. Physical properties: atomic and ionic size, ionization energy, electron affinity, electronegativity and their trends. Chemical Properties: trend in chemical properties as described by their halides, oxides and hydroxides.Descriptive chemistry for elements in block s and p.
Nucleus Chemistry: Radioactivity and radiochemistry, nucleus composition, nucleus stability, reactivity, radiation, nuclear fission and fusion reactions. Applications of nuclear chemistry, radiometric analysis, isotopic dilution analysis, radio activation analysis and radiocarbon dating.
