Welcome All Phase I Students
The Nervous System & Psychology Block will commence on the 11th of October 2020 and spans a duration of 7 weeks. This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the human nervous system by integrating normal anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry with the pathophysiology of disease involving the nervous system. An introduction to clinical evaluation of the nervous system as well as evaluation of psychological conditions will also be provided here.
The objectives of this course are to be achieved through multiple methods of teaching and learning such as lectures, guided self-learning, and practical sessions. Basic knowledge and understanding of the key principles of the nervous system and psychology will be evaluated through continuous assessment using both formative as well as summative approaches.
