This course provides understanding and analysis of various perspectives on current issues involving the field of advertising and exposes students to various perspectives, latest trends and practices of the advertising industry in Malaysia and the global front. The component of this course is 100% coursework.
This course uses a lecture and seminar approach to ensure that students analyze advertising problems through selected topics involving various perspectives, trends, and industry practices. Through this, students will be asked to provide detailed suggestions and discourses. At the end of the course, students will get an overview of the Malaysian and world advertising industry dynamics. Upon completion of this course, the students would be able to:
1. Analyze the latest issues and approaches in the field of advertising
2. Build constructive and analytical thinking by identifying and proposing various alternative solutions to issues, trends and approaches debated in Malaysia and the world
